The Enviresearch Foundation Community Award is intended to support engagement in Science, Environment and Technology through initiatives that help inspire children in North East England to learn about science.  Examples might include: visits to the LIFE museum, science field trips, inviting scientists into schools.  The target age range is school years 6 to 8 (= 10 to 13 year olds).  This award is being administered by the Community Foundation.  This will be launched within the next few weeks.
